The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for the regular full time Trails Operations Technician position in the Parks & Trails Division within the Operations Department. Reporting to the Manager, Parks Operations and supervised by the Parks Operations Coordinator, the Trails Operations Technician performs a wide variety of tasks related to technical research and delivery support to the establishment, operation and maintenance of community and regional trails and associated park sites.

Guaranteed 35 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position may be required to work some evenings and weekends. Flextime is offered with this position. This position is currently not eligible for work-from-home consideration.
Wage rate in 3 steps as per the Collective Agreement between the CVRD and CUPE Local 358, $40.01 - $41.15 - $42.39 per hour (2025 rates). This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package. Please click here for information on the CVRD's Benefit Package.
