The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for the regular full time position of Capital Projects Coordinator – Parks & Trails within the Parks & Trails Division on the Operations Department at the CVRD. Reporting to the Manager, Parks Operations, the Capital Projects Coordinator – Parks & Trails is responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of parks and trails capital projects, ranging from minor capital renovations to major asset replacement. The Capital Projects Coordinator – Parks & Trails also ensures the parks and trails infrastructure adheres to the asset management plan and preventative maintenance standards and operating procedures.

Guaranteed 35 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and eligible for flex time. This position may be required to attend some evening and weekend meetings.
Wage rate in 3 steps as per the Collective Agreement between the CVRD and CUPE Local 358, $52.88 - $54.47 - $56.08 per hour (2025 rates). Benefits are provided as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
