The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for the casual Bowling Alley Relief Opportunity in the Cowichan Lake Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Manager, Cowichan Lake Recreation and receiving direction from the Recreation Programmer II or Program Assistant III the Bowling Alley Relief is responsible for the effective operation of the bowling alley in the absence of the Program Assistant III.
Experience with all aspects of bowling.
Experience with retail sales.
Experience with processing cash transactions, reconciliations, and operating interac and cash machines.
First Aid Level 1 with CPR

This casual opportunity had no guaranteed hours of work. Hours of work include a flexible variety of shifts including days and evenings on weekdays and weekends, based on operational need.
This non-union opportunity has a wage range in 3 steps, $23.94 - $25.18 - $26.29 per hour (2024 rates), plus an additional 6% pay in lieu of benefits, 6% pay in lieu of vacation and 5.2% pay in lieu of statutory holidays, as per the CVRD non-union wage scale.
