The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for casual Food & Beverage I opportunities in the Cowichan Lake Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Coordinator, the Food & Beverage I is responsible for performing: cashiering, dish washing, bussing, banquet worker, concession attendant, prep cook, and bar porter activities. Provides services to patrons and ensures their satisfaction.

As this is a casual opportunity, there are no guaranteed hours of work. Due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate must be prepared to work a flexible variety of shifts including days & evenings on weekdays & weekends.
This non-union casual opportunity has a wage rate in 3 steps, $18.47 - $19.63 - $20.78 per hour (2024 rates), plus 17.2% pay in lieu of vacation, benefits and statutory holidays, as per the Non-Union Wage Scale.
